President’s Letter: June 2026

Greetings Everyone!

June is recognized as National Safety Month, led by the National Safety Council
(NSC)—an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness and preventing
injuries both in the workplace and beyond. Since 1996, this initiative has helped
organizations and individuals focus on the leading causes of preventable
incidents and reinforce safe behaviors in all aspects of life. [nsc.org]

As safety professionals and members of the American Society of Safety
Professionals (ASSP), this month provides an opportunity to strengthen our
commitment to protecting our workforce, our communities, and ourselves.
