Help ASSP Permian Basin Decorate Our Festival of Trees Entry!

November 13; 8:00 am – 7:00 pm (come and go)

Dear ASSP Permian Basin Members,

This holiday season, the ASSP Permian Basin Chapter is sponsoring a tree for the 2026 Festival of Trees, benefiting the Regional (Permian Basin) Adult Protective Services Advisory Board.

Now we need YOU to help us bring our tree to life!

We are looking for chapter members and friends to support our tree in two ways:

Volunteer to Decorate

Join us November 13th between 8:00 am – 7:00 pm as we decorate the ASSP Permian Basin tree and represent our safety community at this special event. The Festival of Trees has moved this year to The Hall at Briarwood, 4906 Briarwood Ave, Midland, TX 79707.

Donate Toys

We are also collecting new, unwrapped toys to support our Festival of Trees participation and help us give back to the Permian Basin community. This is a great opportunity for our safety community to come together outside the workplace, have some fun, and make a positive impact during the holiday season.

Ready to help? Reply to president@permianbasin.assp.org or Megan_Brown@oxy.com, if you would like to volunteer to decorate, donate toys, or both!

You can learn more about the event here: Festival of Trees ’26

Let’s show the Permian Basin that safety professionals don’t just protect people at work, we support our community too.

Thank you for helping us make this year’s tree something special!

Warm regards,

Heather Ferrell
President
